Nightmare (????? Naitomea?) is a Japanese Visual Kei band.
Nightmare was also the name of a Japanese Thrash Metal band from the 1980s.
Nightmare began in 2000 while majority of the members were still in high school. They were all influenced by either X/X Japan or Luna Sea in some form. The lead singer, Yomi, is often compared to Kyo from Dir en grey. Ruka writes a good portion of the songs and attempts to blends his drumming in with Ni~ya's bass playing. Sakito can be quite a trickster. He composes the other major portion of the songs and pulls off fast twin guitar lines with Hitsugi, who is fond of the late solo artist Hide of X-Japan, piercings, and cats.
Just as the band began getting much recognition at live houses and small concerts, their original drummer, Zannin, left the band for unknown reasons. Eventually, RUKA (formerly Luinspear) joins the band as a support and became the permanent drummer after a short time. They debuted in 2003 with their single "Believe."
Their line-up hasn't changed since.

Yomi ranks out as the shortest and the second youngest of the group. He is a spirited young man and tolerated being smacked in the head 3 times by an interviewer AND then by Sakito ^^;;;; He has a beautiful voice that makes people squishy.
He does especially well in lives and put out full energy to make his fans happy. He also likes talking. A lot. (^^;; He also seems to like to run around on stage barefoot.) Yomi is often compared to Dir en grey's Kyo, but let me assure you that they're nothing alike. The only thing they have in common is being short. Other than that, nothing ^^;;;;

During breaks in lives Yomi loves to interact with the fans, asking them questions and actually responding to theirs. (Yomi apparently likes his girls with a big bust and he likes them be able to cook and clean)

Hitsugi is the youngest and second shortest of the group. He's a very shy and cool person, despite his looks which tend to make him seem 'freakish'. Never judge a book by it's cover!! He's a sweetheart too. His guitar skills are beautiful, I think. He's been spotted with a kitty plushie on his microphone when he performs.

Ruka is the eldest and tallest member of Naito. He also marks off to be the mature one. According to an interview, he likes Ni~Ya's crotch He was originally the support member after Naito's first drummer (Zennin) left. (Ruka himself being ex-Luinspear's drums). Then he became an offical member short after. He claims he stays the same while onstage and offstage.
