About the band
Baroque (????), or brq, was a Japanese rock band, that formed in 2001 and was signed to S'CUBE, a division of Free-Will, and distributed by Sony Music. Originally a Visual Kei band, Baroque quickly dropped their visuals for the more normal look of jeans and t-shirts.
Baroque played in Singapore's Asian Youth Music Festival in 2002.
Their first full album was released September 9, 2004, and on September 11th the band announced it was breaking up after finishing contractual obligations. The last concert was a sold out performance at Zepp Tokyo on December 25, 2004 (which holds about 4,000 people )
Ryo and Kei have re-formed Kannivalism and are currently signed to Free-Will.

Ryo (or Ryou) writes all the lyrics for baroque. His voice is just cool, he can do basically anything from singing high punk-ish notes to whispering and crooning.
He's quite small (162cm) and says he'd love to be taller (his dream-height is 173cm) ^_^ He's often wearing contact lenses with weird colors.
? (K) ‹ Kei ›
position: guitar
birthday: 1984.08.12.

previous bands: clarity, kannivalism
Kei used both the Kanji '?' (his real name) and 'K'(which is the english pronunciation of that kanji) for his name, it used to vary from release to release and magazine to magazine. Nowadays, you'll only see his name written in kanji (?). He's the youngest in the band.
? (???) ‹ Akira ›
position: guitar
birthday: 1977.08.30.
bloodtype: A
previous band: Shiver
Akira=Mr. Silk Hat ; (he loves wearing them!) He writes most of the music for the band. His trademark are those catchy melodies and shuffle rythms. He used to write his name in Romaji (AKIRA), then switched to Katakana (???) and now he writes it with the kanji ?.
?? Bansaku ›
‹
position: bass
birthday: 1977.10.29.
bloodtype: A
previous band: After effect
Bansaku's bass lines are the coolest and tend to be more melody-oriented because he plays the bass almost like a guitar.
